The FSO is giving away sets of 4 tickets (2 for students, and 2 for adults to accompany them) to each of 10 local schools this summer!

Tickets are for our wonderful concert on June 10th at Princes Hall, Aldershot. We are playing Elgar’s Froissart Overture, Britten’s beautiful Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, featuring Ruairi Bowen and Alison Wyld, and Elgar’s famous Enigma Variations, which came in at number 4 on this year’s Classic FM Hall of Fame! If your secondary school or sixth form is within one of our local postcodes, and you’d like your school to be in with a chance of winning, ask a member of staff to enter the school’s details below before our deadline of midnight on Wednesday 24th May – winning schools will be picked at random during our rehearsal on Thursday 25th May and contacted by the phone or e-mail address provided the next day to arrange posting the tickets!

Entries must be submitted by a member of staff, not a student.

FSO Ticket Giveaway Terms and Conditions

• The FSO is giving away 10 sets of 4 tickets, for 2 students and 2 accompanying adults, to each of 10 local secondary schools or sixth-form colleges.
• Tickets are for the FSO’s concert at Princess Hall, Aldershot, 7.45pm 10^th June, only. Tickets are not transferable to any other concert nor for their cash value.
• Tickets for the winning schools will be posted to the name and address provided by the school.
• To be eligible for the giveaway the school must:
  • Have a main address in postcode areas: GU9, GU11, GU12, GU14, GU15, GU16, GU17, GU24, GU46, GU47, GU51, GU52
    
  • Be a secondary school and/or sixth form (years 7-11, 7-13 or 11-13)
  • Provide the name, staff e-mail and direct contact telephone number of a named member of staff who will be responsible for allocating the free tickets to students and their accompanying adults
  • Agree to their school being named on the FSO’s website and social media channels, if winning
• To enter the giveaway the school must provide the following details via the entry form on the FSO’s website:
  • School name
  • Age group (secondary, sixth-form or both)
  • Address including postcode
  • Name, e-mail address and contact telephone number of an individual staff member
• The FSO will not use the contact details for any purposes other than to contact winning schools about the outcome of the Giveaway and any necessary communication about the concert thereafter.
• The FSO will hold the contact details securely, in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and delete them when they are no longer needed (11^th June 2023 at the latest).
• The deadline for entry form submission, via the FSO website, is midnight British Summer Time on Wednesday 24th May – forms with timestamps after this date will not be entered into the draw.
• One entry per school is permitted; duplicate entries will not be included in the draw.
• The 10 winning schools will be drawn at random from all eligible entries at the FSO rehearsal on Thursday 25th May.
• The winning staff member will be contacted by telephone and/or e-mail on Friday 26th May and arrangements will be made to send the tickets to the school.
• Winning students and their accompanying adults will be welcomed at the FSO Friends & Sponsors table on the evening of the concert to collect a complimentary programme and refreshment.
