After seven years as the Artistic Director of the FSO, Bill Carslake has announced that he is stepping down from his role. During his tenure, the orchestra has grown in ambition and artistry, exploring bold new repertoire, engaging with the wider community and raising the bar for what we can achieve together.

We will miss Bill, not just musically but also for his friendship and generosity of spirit. We offer him our heartfelt thanks for his years of service and leadership and wish him all the very best in his next musical adventure.
