FSO Introduces Matinee Performance of The General

By popular demand, the FSO has introduced a matinee performance of the Buster Keaton silent film, The General, in addition to the previously advertised evening performance.

In June 2011, the FSO announced that its 2011/12 season would include the showing of the Buster Keaton silent film, The General, with live orchestral accompaniment in the form of the score by Carl Davis. The performance is scheduled for 17th March 2012 at Farnham Maltings. The original seasonal programme included a single evening performance of the film but, in response to growing demand, a matinee performance (at 15:00) has now been scheduled. Advance booking of tickets is strongly recommended.
