The FSO has appointed Shannon Wagstaff as its new Principal Clarinet. Shannon, who has previously worked as a freelance professional musician, moved to the UK from Hong Kong in 2011 and is currently studying for a Master of Education degree while working at Southbank International School in London. FSO performs "The General" to capacity houses

At Farnham Maltings last Saturday, the FSO performed live orchestral accompaniment to the Buster Keaton silent comedy "The General". Both the matinee and evening events had capacity audiences whose appreciation of the performances was evident.
